Author Guidelines

JEFIS welcomes original manuscripts in the following 
categories:

  • Research Articles: 5,000–8,000 words
  • Review Articles: 6,000–10,000 words
  • Conceptual Papers: 4,000–7,000 words
  • Technical Studies: 4,000–8,000 words
  • Short Communications: 2,000–3,500 words

Manuscripts must be in Microsoft Word (.docx), 12pt Times New Roman or Calibri, double-spaced, 2.54cm margins, pages numbered. Abstract: max 250 words. Keywords: 5–8 terms separated by semicolons. All references must follow APA 7th Edition.

Anonymisation is mandatory. Remove all author names, affiliations, and self-identifying references from the manuscript file before uploading. Enter author details separately in the Contributors step.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The manuscript is submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
  • All author names, affiliations, and acknowledgements have been removed from the manuscript file (double-blind review).
  • The abstract does not exceed 250 words.
  • Between 5 and 8 keywords are provided, separated by semicolons.
  • All references follow APA 7th Edition format.
  • Similarity is below 15% overall and below 5% from any single source.
  • The manuscript has not been published elsewhere and is not under review at another journal.
  • Any use of AI writing or paraphrasing tools has been disclosed.
  • All authors have approved the final manuscript and agree to the submission.

  • Authors may post their work in institutional repositories or personal websites, provided proper acknowledgement of original publication in JEFIS is included.
  • Authors warrant that the submitted work is original, has not been published elsewhere, and does not infringe any third-party rights.
